Hoveringham is approximately 25 minutes from Nottingham city centre. Head north through Burton Joyce and Lowdham, then follow signs into the village. The pub is on Main Street, beside the cricket ground.

Southwell is around 10 minutes away. Head south-east through Thurgarton and follow the road into Hoveringham.
By public transport
Hoveringham is a rural village and public transport is limited. The nearest bus connections are from Nottingham via Lowdham, though services are infrequent. We recommend checking Trent Barton for current schedules.
Parking
The pub has a small on-site car park. Spaces fill quickly on Sundays and busy weekends, so most visitors park on Main Street, which runs directly alongside. We would rather set expectations honestly than have you arrive expecting a large dedicated car park.
If you are visiting for Sunday lunch, arriving a few minutes early is always a good idea, especially on fine days when the terrace fills quickly.

Dogs are welcome in the bar area. We ask that dogs are kept off furniture and away from the dining room and terrace during food service.
